Cathedral View is located on the fifth floor of the building. It is accessible by lift, and also has a disabled access toilet.
Upon arrival
Just outside the door to the venue we have a drop-off/unloading bay which can be used for vehicle drop-offs.
There are also two disabled parking bays within 20 metres of the venue, available on a first-come first-served basis.
There is a small ramp up to the front doors of St Vincent’s Centre, which can open out to enable access for wider wheelchairs.
Inside the building
The fifth floor can be accessed via the lift or stairs.
Lift Door Dimensions: 2.0 metres (h) x 0.9 metres (w) | Internal Lift Dimensions: 1.4m (l) x 1.2m (w).
All doorways are wide enough to accommodate standard wheelchairs: 0.81m (w) x 2.02m (h).
Cathedral View conference rooms also benefit from a hearing loop system.
There are strobe alarms that are fixed in the disabled toilet on the 5th floor which emits a flashing light on the sound of the fire alarm for visually impaired occupants.
The rooftop
The rooftop is positioned up another small flight of stairs, for which we have a stair lift – not suitable for motorised wheelchairs.
